Are some STDs associated with HIV?

Yes. In the United States, people who get syphilis, gonorrhea, and herpes often also have HIV, or are more likely to get HIV in the future.

HIV/AIDS Services

The HIV test involves a simple blood draw from your arm. You will also receive education on prevention and counseling, if necessary.

There are two options for registering for your test:

1. Confidential registration:

Provide your name, address, and phone number to our clerks to start or update your personal chart. You will need to return to our facility for results. No contact will be made unless the test is positive.

2. Anonymous registration:

Opt to withhold your name, address, and phone number. You will be issued a numbered sticker upon completion of your visit. It is crucial to retain this sticker for result retrieval, as it serves as the sole means of tracking your results.

Results typically take 5-7 business days to process. In the event of a positive result, you will receive counseling and a referral to another facility for treatment. Negative results will be accompanied by counseling on prevention measures.
